George is a lifelong resident of North Carolina and currently resides in Wilmington. He and his wife, Tammy have three sons: Chris, David, and Jimmy. Chris, a 2004 Magna Cum Laude graduate of the College of Management at NC State University, is now living in Raleigh with his wife, Katie and is a second year law student at UNC Chapel Hill. David is currently a student at NC State University majoring in engineering. Jimmy is a 2008 graduate of Laney High School in Wilmington and is attending Cape Fear Community College. George's hobbies include riding any kind of motorcycle. He rides motocross and road bikes. His inventory includes a 2008 Harley Davidson Anniversary Edition Ultraglide Classic, a 2006 Yamaha YZ450F, a 2005 Honda CRF250R, a 2000 Yamaha YZ250, a 1998 Kawasaki Vulcan, and a 2006 Yamaha R6. In addition, George enjoys watching AMA racing and NASCAR. He is currently a Dale Earnhardt, Jr. fan. George also enjoys boating and camping with his family in the mountains of North Carolina and Virginia.
